A moment of Divine

I see your hand holding mine,
I see your eyes as red as wine,
I could see the tears falling,
And here’s my breath stalling,

Your walk down the aisle stopped my beat,
Every step is my dream and not your feat,
Flowers in the room are smiling again,
Leaving behind the regrets of human disdain,

Being in love was never so enticing,
Being loved is always dazzling,
Waiting for you to stand beside me,
Our love in your eyes I could see,

Holy fire burning has never been so calm,
Looks like flames are of love and does not harm,
Journey we began has no end,
Lifetime is short for us to spend,

I see your face radiate,
Finally the feeling is sinking in and is sedate,
I owe a thank to God’s sign,

We met and rest was divine. . .

Devil and Me

Now comes a phase with a new journey,
Some forlorn desires are devil’s new attorney,
I think I have quelled and quashed them,
Still sometimes I see them lurking at the helm.

Here is my horizon I would like to touch,
But devil’s advocate seems to return to the perch,
My dreams sometimes dream of the nightmare,
Like a parasite they search their share.

I wake up at the middle of the night,
Deride them, fighting them like a knight,
Mornings are like herbs I need,
Bruised and battered I try to feed.

Sun has the light to heal,
Free, firm, happy and loved I feel,
Will I find an angel again?
Or should I make the devil my friend?

This battle needs me victorious,
These questions only seems vicious,
I know answers lie within me,
Only have to open my eyes to see. . .
