FOUR YEARS

4 YEARS OF ENGINEERING…

THIS IS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS, WHO HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ME AND WITH ME…. FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SHARED EVEN A SINGLE SECOND TOGETHER… FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE FOUND PLEASURE IN SPENDING THESE 4 YEARS… FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE MADE FRIENDS… FOR ALL THOSE WHO FEEL PROUD ABOUT IT….

Four years have just flown away,
And it’s time to begin a new day,
The night we passed was colorful,
The time we spent was fruitful,

It gave us the gift of friendship,
The jewels which we will always keep,
Tomorrow everyone will move from here,
Keeping the memories with him very near,
Life will be different for everyone,
But each one of us will shine with the rising sun,

We laughed together, we walked together,
We have been with each other in bad weather,
Those dances in the rain, those teases in the pain,
We lost nothing but we have only gained,


How can we forget the semester exams,
Subjects were too weird to give headaches to balms,
Teachers were never there to support us,
But we still passed the exams with minimum fuss,


Everything has come to an end today,
But still we are smiling, keeping tears at bay,
This stop is over and we will look for something new,
Because life is a journey and it has to continue,
But these memories will never be forgotten anytime,
We will miss each other from heart and our mind…..

SOME PASSING MOMENTS


When I see these waves roaring,
I feel my heart is somewhere soaring,
Today standing on the wet sand with friends around,
I see a distant ship piercing the sea with a sound,

Ah, our life resembles that sailing ship,
We have taken a very high leap,
But sometimes I think we are still kids,
Trying to collect memories like spread beads,

Someday we will grow up and regret about things we missed,
And smile about the things we all together did,
Time will fly but the memories are there to last,
Future is ahead but this is the wonderful past…..

THE OTHER SIDE

Stretching my arms beneath the sky,
Looking above with my head held high,
Cheers brought by this wind is pleasant,
Love for someone has all the more deepened.

The earth under my feet has been really cold,
I could run down the streets like a blindfold,
I feel someone is showering blessings on me,
Not my eyes but my heart can see.

Someone is holding my hand very tight,
The bond is getting stronger with every passing night,
Wind is getting colder but I am not stopping today,
With my broad smile, I will keep sadness at bay.

I won’t sweat and I won’t get tired,
I want to run so fast that the earth catches the fire,
Fire which has burnt my heart from long,
And today I am with the birds singing the song.

Tonight I will have dreams,
Tonight I won’t scream,
Tonight I will have my smile,
Tonight I will sleep for a while.

For these days I missed my jive,
I missed the essence of my life,
Today I want everything back,
Today I want to amend everything I lack.

I can see the stars smiling at me,
Astonishingly, this is what I can be,
They can say that I have gone mad,
But this is how I am when I am not sad….
